On an East Texas ranch belonging to an old college classmate of one of the
Canvas by Canvas painters, the Three Amigos keep each other company and
keep danger away from the herd. The longhorn was an orphan calf but was
adopted by the Holstein cow “Momma” after she lost her own calf. The donkey,
“J-Honk”, had been headed to the sale barn when purchased to became the
conscientious protector of the pasture. The herd is never bothered by predators
of any kind with Three Amigos standing guard.
Three Amigos was painted in acrylics by nine of the collaboration artists of
Canvas by Canvas on 3 canvases. The size is 24 x 36. It comes with a Certificate
of Authenticity signed by all the participating artists.
