Elizabeth Mitchell "Betty" Taylor has received art instruction from more
than a dozen of the finest contemporary American artists in watercolor,
acrylic and oil.
Her travel photography, nationally and abroad, has given her an
extensive library of images which she uses as a basis for many of her
paintings. From distant lands such as Africa, China, and Europe, to
places closer to home, her art draws upon the places she has visited
and the many interesting people she has met.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in
Toronto, Canada and is a naturalized U.S. citizen. Using her
background in the areas of teaching, management information systems,
and art she brings a style to her painting that is full of life and drama.
